How do I import just bibliographci information form an RIS and not the PDFs as well?-Web version

Hi,
I am trying to import just the bibliographic information for a RIS file to the Web Library for a research team. We only want the bibliographic information from this file and not the PDFs as well as we plan to weed many articles out. is there a way to do this in the web version or do I need another type of file? If so can anyone tell me what type of file would be ideal?

You can't import metadata with a simple workflow when using the web library. Why is using desktop Zotero not an option? Zotero is designed to be used principally using the desktop client, with the web library mainly for ad-hoc online access.
