Report ID 654193346 - Unexpected status code 0 in Zotero sync error

I upgraded to version 2.0b7.2 fine on the second computer after I figured out that the new version defaulted file sync preferences to WebDav, when the default should have been Zotero (there weren't two choices in the previous version, and the auto default to WebDav caused sync errors on the first computer). I figured out how to open the options from the Tools menu and access the Preferences without opening Zotero at the bottom, on the second computer, so I tried reinstalling Zotero on the first computer and following the same method to set file sycning to Zotero on the first computer. I'm still getting a sync error, but it says, "Unexpected status code 0 in Zotero.Sync.Storage.Session.ZFS._getStorageFileInfo()".
  • Are you behind a proxy server?

Is your system clock set correctly?

Browse to https://sync.zotero.org in your browser. Do you see a security warning? (Don't accept it if you do, since there shouldn't be one, but let us know what it says.)
  • I'm not sure what you mean by proxy server. I'm on campus, and we use EZProxy to access library databases, but I was able to upgrade Zotero on a laptop on the public network in the building; my computer is on a different network. My system clock is fine. The sync URL you sent says, "Nothing to see here."
  • If you're still experiencing this, load https://api.zotero.org/headtest.html in Firefox from the same computer, and enter your Zotero username and password when prompted. It should pop up an alert. Let us know what it says.

If you get status code 0, try from Internet Explorer.

It was defaulting to WebDAV on upgrade even if there was no WebDAV URL previously. This has been fixed in the latest dev build. Thanks.
