failed to rename file in chinese

Cannot use Chinese when renaming a new folder in the sidebar

my computer is M1 macbook pro with MacOS Big Sur

the zotero version is 5.0.96.2

    Failed how? What exactly is happening? Can you provide a Debug ID for whatever you're trying?

    I cannot provide the error log because this bug is not recorded in the log.
    This bug is that when you create a new folder and rename it, you cannot enter Chinese. In other words, after switching to the Chinese input method, there is no text input in the file naming box.

    This likely has something to do with your input method — we certainly have other people inputting Chinese characters on macOS. If you're using any non-standard software to do this, try without that.
