"Added by" field in desktop app?

The Web Libraries have a center pane column available called "Added by", but this column doesn't appear to be available for the desktop. It's a very useful field. Is there a way to add it on the desktop? If not, are there any plans to make it available for the desktop version?

It's not possible, but yes, there are plans (no ETA, but hopefully not that far out)
