“Add Item Note from Annotations”

This is such a powerful feature and I’m really enjoying it. Two questions about it:

1. From the beta documentation, I think I remember it saying this would somehow work with a word processor to retain the links. I’m not seeing that option on the desktop beta. Right now I’m just copying and pasting text and pics from the document.

2. Is there a future plan to allow for Note from Annotations on iOS? This would make it highly competitive with apps such as Highlights.

1) You should see an Add Note button in the word processor plugin toolbar. If you don't, reinstall the plugin from the Cite pane of the preferences.

2) Yes (but not for the initial non-beta release).
