Separating primary and secondary sources in "Short Title Subsequent" Chicago Style?
Hello,
I'm using the “short title subsequent”-Chicago Style (Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (full note, short title subsequent)(2020-04-26 18:22:50)) in Zotero, but in creating the bibliography this style doesn't distinguish between primary and secondary sources.
I've searched on the Internet and found this way to separate the primary from the secondary bibliography in Zotero: https://gouldguides.carleton.edu/zotero/sort-by-cateogory
However, this Zotero style uses the Chicago "full note" system, and not the "short title subsequent" style. I would like to be able to separate the primary and secondary sources in the same way in the "short title note subsequent" style.
Is there already such a style available or how can I safely edit one of these two styles? I have absolutely no experience with programming/writing codes and wouldn't want to completely ruin one of these styles!
Thank you very much!
