Issue with LibreOffice
Hello everyone,
I have a little question on Zotero and the plugin that enable to use it with LibreOffice word.
I am working on Linux Ubuntu 21.04.
It is indicated in the link below that the plugin is already included in libreoffice and should be installed when first starting Zotero. It is not working in my case.

The Zotero LibreOffice integration plugin is installed in Zotero. But it seems not to be able to reach LibreOffice. The problem could be due to a missing Java runtime environment, that does not work as I can't find a .jdk file in the links provided.

I don't think the problem come from Zotero itself, as it is working very well with Firefox.
Has anyone experienced the same problem previously?
Would anyone know where to find a .jre file, in order to install JAVA on LibreOffice?

dstillmanJDK and JRE aren't file extensions — they're different forms of the Java environment. The linked page provides links to installers, but generally on Linux you would use your system's package manager. We can't help with that.

emilianoeheyns@dstillman I currently pull in default-jre and libreoffice-java-common for Juris-M in the debs -- should I do the same for Zotero?
-
dstillman@emilianoeheyns: I don't think that's necessary. Zotero should prompt to install default-jre via the system package manager if it's not installed, which gives people the chance to say no if they're not using LibreOffice.

emilianoeheynsCool. My test suite bombs out for Juris-M if I don't install them before.
