HELP! I unlinked and now everything is gibberish

Hi, I unlinked Zotero in word so that I could shape up my citations by hand on my PhD dissertation due MONDAY! and now the document has gibberish in the citations and are all messed up. I tried uninstalling Zotero because the document looks normal on a computer without Zotero but it still is happening, even when I redownload the document from Drive. Can anyone help me?!?! I don't know if there are plug-ins hiding somewhere that I have to delete as well, or something?! Thank you!!!!

It sounds like you may just be referring to Word field codes, but those would only appear if you haven't actually unlinked the citations.
