Bulk remove tags (but not from all instances)?

Is there a quick way to remove a tag from multiple entries without having to delete the tag one at a time or from all instances?

For example, if I used a tag for 50 entries and I'd like to remove it from 20 of those, is there a way to select and remove those 20 all at once, or can they only be removed one at a time?

If there's no bulk tag removal from a selection, it would be a nice feature to have eventually.

Yes, by dragging to the tag in the tag selector with a modifier key:

The extension Zutilo also provide this feather.

You can also add the tag as a colored tag and remove it in bulk by typing its number key
