Adding papers from ResearchSquare

Maybe this is new, but Nature has its own preprint publication service (similar to arXiv, bioarXiv). For instance, the following publication is currently in review:

Don’t really know where to post this (first time I’m using Zotero’s forums) but maybe that would be nice to be able to import papers from Nature’s preprints via the Connectors, like on arXiv. Currently, the (Chrome) connector imports a webpage instead of creating an article entry.

Addendum: importing the PDF itself (instead of the web page presenting the article) imports a "report" type entry. This is inconsistent with imports from arXiv/bioarXiv which import "journal article" entries.

The inconsistency is just because Zotero doesn't have a preprint category, yet. Report is actually the better option here, but we'll start unifying them as proper preprints.

Just merged a translator for this site! Thanks for the suggestion. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences.

Is it possible to import these as Prepring now that Zotero has a Preprint category?

The current translator isn't working on the site at all, unfortunately. That's a bit harder to fix (since they've made some quite ugly changes) than just moving it to preprint, which would just take 4 canned lines.

do we know if there is an upcoming fix for this? I used to be able to load Research Square preprints as preprints, and it seems that this no longer works.
