updating records

Hi, are you familiar with the EndNote "update record" command? I think it uses either DOI or PMID, if your existing record has one of those identifiers, and goes and queries -- I don't know if it's PubMed or the publisher's website via DOI or what, but somehow it fills out all the missing info about the article with that DOI or PMID. Very helpful in situations where you have a unique identifier but the rest of your article metadata has gaps.
Does Zotero have a similar feature and I'm just not aware of it? Or maybe a similar Zotero feature is in development?

An update feature is in development. For now, you can just use Add Item by Identifier, select both items, right-click, and merge the two items.
