Upgrade StorageManual Switch from Short to Full Citation

I am using Zotero to create my dissertation citations, so there are multiple chapters in a single document and certain sources cited in multiple chapters. The problem I have is that Zotero detects whether I have cited a source in a previous chapter and so gives that citation a short citation even though it is being cited for the first time in the new chapter. I need to change this, either manually or in some programmatic fashion. Is this possible?
