Error starting Zotero

Since the start of this week my Zotero has been giving this error message when trying to run the program:

Error: Could not open connection to H:\Zotero\zotero.sqlite: 2153971714
openConnection/</<@resource://gre/modules/Sqlite.jsm:945:21
From previous event:
Zotero.DBConnection.prototype._getConnectionAsync@chrome://zotero/content/xpcom/db.js:1149:30

I have no idea where to even begin debugging this. For reference, I also have zotfile installed.

    2153971714 is a generic storage I/O error. This is most common on a network share but could also be due to a physical problem with your disk or security software interfering with Zotero's ability to access the disk. If you can't figure it out, best we can suggest is to move your data directory back to the C: drive.

    Thank you!
    I have just moved it back to the C: drive and it works. It required me to edit the prefs.js file though to set the data directory otherwise Zotero still didn't open.
