Change square bracket to superscript at the Diabetologia citation

Hey,

I'm currently writing on my Thesis and I wanted to change the square brackets from the Diabetologia citation to superscript. Does anyone know how to do this and is able to help me?

Replace the citation section in the style with
<citation collapse="citation-number">
<sort>
<key variable="citation-number"/>
</sort>
<layout delimiter="," vertical-align="sup">
<text variable="citation-number"/>
</layout>
</citation>
