Upgrade Storagecustom metadata retrieval
I'd like to add better support for retrieving metadata and generating citations for legal documents.
What I have:
- I've written my own python hacks that get the data and update my metadata over the API, it works pretty OK and converting it to javascript wouldn't be tough.
- I have a halfway decent Bluebook citation generator, but CSL is poorly suited to legal citations. (this also runs separately from Zotero, which means no Word plugins.)
I'd much prefer to make this into a plugin, but have had trouble finding documentation for the metadata retrieval and citation generations flows (I need to do more than just compile cites with a CSL)
Can someone point me to the right place in the documentation?
Also, since someone might find this while searching for Bluebooking citation managers, the Juris-M fork of Zotero https://juris-m.github.io/release/ handles many kinds of legal citation, but doesn't manage court documents, statutes, agency statements, law review articles, or SSRN metadata very well.
