Is it possible to add Perma.cc to a Zotero field?

2»
  • ok. Got it...

Last, I tried changing the word "Accessed" for "last visited" in the code and it just deleted the word altogether. Is there a way to change this?

    Thank you!
  • add
    <term name="accessed">last visited</term>

    right after this line
    <term name="edition" form="short">edn.</term>
  • As I am trying to recreate the same in OSCOLA,, which format is: actual link (last visited DATE), archived at perma.cc

I was able to add the perma.cc reference, but could not find where to add the parenthesis to the last visit date
  • Any thoughts?
  • (you're asking for line-by-line instructions for modifying now multiple styles. You'll have to be a bit patient or spend a bit more time working on this yourself so you can ask more specific -- and thus faster to answer -- questions)
  • I simply wanted to know whether there was help coming.

Unfortunately, as I mentioned earlier, I do not have the technical expertise to “work on it” myself beyond what I have already done, and because of my technical deficiency, I am unable “ask more specific … and thus faster to answer questions.”

@adamsmith, if my inquiry upset you, it's too time-consuming, and it is too much trouble, please forget it. Thank you and my apologies for the trouble.
  • It's perfectly fine to ask, I'm just saying to modify expectations about how quickly you'll get answers to questions, particulary ones that require people to look at code & respond with details. Re-up you're thread after 3-4 days without answer, not every 24hs.
  • Here is what I based my expectations on:

“Unlike with many other software forums, where users are often left to fend for themselves... you'll frequently find yourself talking within hours or minutes with the person who wrote the specific part of the software you're having trouble with. ... You'll never need to escalate your report..., or wait for the right person to provide follow-up questions to pass back to you. The Zotero team is made up of real people who are accountable for their work and care deeply about people's experiences...”

@adamsmith, as I said earlier, don't bother with an answer. As much as I would like to have the help, I had enough. Please consider the matter closed.
