I'm new to working with zotero. I'm trying to manage citations from different databases by creating collections. However, when I import a new search from a database it creates another collection. While I can move the new collection and enter as a subcollection under a broader collection group, I mostly just want a single collection for each group. Is there a way to merge subcollections with a broader collection group to get a single collection.
For example, I have:
1. Database (collection) a. database search 1 (sub-collection) b. database search 2 (sub-collection)
And I want:
1. Database (collection) a. database search 1+2
Or just:
1. Database (collection = sub 1 + sub 2)
Please let me know how I can do this. Thanks so much for the help!
Best, Mansha dstillman 12 days ago You can just drag items from one collection to another. mansham 3 days ago Hi,
Thanks so much! This was helpful. However, what if I have multiple items. Is it possible to select all at once and drag them to a folder. Please let me know!

Yes
You seem to have quoted my answer from another thread. Can you explain how that doesn't answer your question?
