How do I use Zotero to do in-text citation and references for PDF Documents?
Hello Zotero community,
I am new to Zotero and its function. Zotero was introduced for the first time at my MBA program in which I have just became a student last weekend.
The professor explained about how to use Zotero but did not really cover about the different types of documents Zotero can be used to cite.
So, I have some PDFs downloaded from the Internet in which I need to cite. Unfortunately, Zotero cannot cite these downloaded PDFs. Every PDF in Zotero list does not have the typical caret ( ">" ) sign next to the name of the PDF document.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.
Regards,
Arry Valendra

But note that going forward, the best way to add items to Zotero is to click the Save to Zotero button in your browser toolbar, rather than downloading the PDF manually
