why manual sync is required with auto sync enabled?

even with the auto sync enable, my Zotero needs manual syncing. why I need manual syncing and why my auto sync is not working even when it is enable.

    You'd have to say more. Auto-sync is the default setting, and we're not aware of any problems with it.
