Edit Bibliography (Vancouver style)

Just wondering if there is a simple way to edit the appearance of the bibliography in my document: using Vancouver style, but need the authors list in each reference to cut to "et al" after the first 3 authors.

Is there any way of doing this, other than manually?

I've never edited code etc, but managed to do it by following the instructions on the link - which was quite satisfying! Thanks for your help!
