Unable to edit note attached to journal article

Every time I try and edit a note I have attached to one of my items, it gives me this error message to restart. When I restart, same thing. Over and over. Even when I'm only deleting a space!

    Does this note have content pasted from a webpage?

    What happens if you Select All and then Cut?

    I'd guess if you do that, paste into another program (e.g., TextEdit), and paste back into the note, this will go away. (Certainly if you do it in plain-text mode in TextEdit it should go away.)

    There's a completely new note editor in the Zotero beta, so we won't be fixing this in the existing editor.

    The content was copy and pasted from another text editor, cutting and pasting back into the note fixed it! Thank you! Looking forward to the new note editor in the new update :)
