Refresh of .docx is too slow and even doesnt finish. ID: 1381558756

Hello, I have got problem with manual update (automatic update is switched of) of Bibliography. My .docx document has 100+ pages and almost 100 cited books, articles etc. After I hit "Refresh" button in Zotero addin in Word, nothing happens. After hitting the button several times, Zotero program opens and probably start to update. However, it does not update anything. Im using the latest macOS and Microsoft word versions.
Probably this is not only my problem, since my girlfriend is having the same issue on hers mac as well - luckily she has much less pages and cited literature, so for her i took some time and after several minutes her file was updated (however, after hitting button "Refresh" in word, nothing happens, nothing appears... after some time, update starts and is very slowly).
Finally, I moved my .docx and Zotero library file on Windows virtual machine and I was able to update my .docx file during about 10 second. I believe that there must be some kind of problem in Zotero mac version.

As you have discovered, Word for Mac integration is very slow with big documents. Unfortunately there is little we can do (although we will have a progress bar in the future to make it more obvious when Zotero is working). If you'd wait for Zotero eventually the Refresh would finish, but if you are able to work on Windows we recommend doing that instead for big documents.
