  • The error message is pasted as shown.
  • A disk I/O error is almost always a basic issue with Zotero's ability to access the database on your hard disk.

    This can be caused by security software, by having the harddrive in an mounted or shared drive, or, in the worst case, by actualy hard disk failure.
