Footnotes not updating

Hi, can anyone help please? When I add a footnote or delete, the numbering does not update and I have to manually change all the footnotes. This is going to be a massive problem when I add multiple chapters to the same document. Can anyone advise, please? I am using OSCOLA.

    If footnotes numbers aren't updating, that'd be a Word issue -- Zotero just inserts standard Word footnote numbers with OSCOLA (and other footnote styles). This isn't unheard of -- you can google for some possible solutions or post to the MS help forums for support.
