Beta PDF Reader: Can't highlight text in all PDFs (though the text layer is there)

I'm really loving the new PDF reader!

However, I just noticed an issue, namely that in some pdf-files I cannot highlight the text.

It's searchable in Zotero, and when I open the file in my default pdf reader I can highlight it, but not in the beta Zotero reader.

Any advice? Thanks :)

Are those PDFs you could link to here? If not, could you send to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread

I'm not sure how to attach a file here, but I got it from archive.org, so the URL to the pdf is:
