zotero safari connection on macOS Big Sur Apple Silicon uses 100% CPU
Zotero safari connection on macOS Big Sur (11.3.1) Apple Silicon (M1) uses 100% CPU all the time. This is odd since the zotero Microsoft Edge connector on same machine works without consuming as much CPU when idle, while the one on safari takes 100% CPU even when I am not using it.

In any case, it's likely the same problem after a Zotero app update explained on the support page. You should delete the Zotero beta, restart your computer, and reinstall the beta.
