Storing group attatchments to a server instead of local disk

I would like to know if it is possible to specify a server instead of a local disk as a location for the storage of pdfs in a group? Our research project has a server and I would like to create the storage files there instead of on my personal computer. If this is possible, would it also be possible to specify this for the group, but to keep my personal library on my computer?

This is what Zotero file syncing via Zotero Storage is for — it syncs files with everyone in the group so that everyone has access.

Your personal library and groups can use different file syncing settings. In personal libraries you can also use linked-file attachments to files elsewhere on your computer.

An upcoming version of Zotero will allow you to control how long Zotero stores local copies of files that have been synced to the online library, in order to save disk space.
