iPad app Annotation feature bugginess and behavior
Background
When no annotation feature is selected the default behavior for tapping and dragging is to select text. This is normal and expected behavior. Tapping on selected text helpfully invokes a selection menu that allows the user to add a highlight annotation to the selected text. This is also normal and expected behavior.
Issue
The ‘highlight’ option does not always appear in the selection menu.
Additional thought
It would be helpful if, in addition to fixing the above, tapping the highlight tool on the toolbar while text is selected would serve the same function as doing so via invoking the highlight command from the selection menu.
