Please tell me how you have been entering YouTube videos so they can be cited in APA 7?
Here is the APA 7 format:
Last Name, F. M. [Username]. (Year, Month Date). Title of video [Video]. Streaming Service. URL
And here is an example:
Lushi, K. [I am Korab]. (2016, July 3). Albatross culture 1 [Video]. YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AMrJRQDPjk&t=148s
Note: The title, Albatross culture 1, should be in italics.
I read Zotero's page with all the fields that can be substituted.
I see Creator but not Username.
Regardless, I don't understand how to make the changes.
I would just like to see Streaming Service as an Item Type.
It is such a common citation... I feel like I am missing something.

I think the 3rd one will work. Looks like the username is included with the director's name. The others are incorrect.
What's required for Zotero to add a new item type?

“YouTube video” doesn’t need any sort of special item type—Video Recording covers it. Indeed, you can see from the APA manual that both examples 88 and 90 include examples from YouTube and other platforms.
