Don't clear search field when switching collections

    On a related issue, I think it would be good if the search field wasn't cleared after a search but retained the previous search text. Routinely I search, in error, in a collection when I should be searching across a whole library and have to re-enter the search term.

    Thanks also to everyone who's developed this software.
