Laptop Crashed and problems with using Zotero at university

Hi,

Yesterday my laptop crashed. I'm working on a big project and my Zotero library had a load of sources I was using/planning on using. But my laptop crashed. Luckily, I saved all my files online beforehand. However, I didn't have a Zotero account. I had just downloaded it on my laptop, nothing else. So did I lose my sources library yesterday?

Furthermore, I'm working on a computer at my university. These computer run on a university system and don't allow Zotero to be downloaded. How can I use Zotero on these computer?

    1. If by crash you mean "become entirely unusable" and you don't have either a back-up of the harddisk nor did you sync with Zotero, I'm afraid those items are gone

    2. You can sync Zotero and work with the online library (click on "Web Library" at the top of this page), but that provides a lot less functionality.
