Zotero does not find PDF files on my computer

I had to upload Zotero to the new version and I had to import again my library. When I'm trying to open a file it says that the attachment could not be found. If I try to relocate the item it doesn't show the PDF in the folder, but if I access the file from the explorer I can see it. I have this debug ID: D297114871
  • What do you mean by "I had to import again my library"? Can you explain exactly what you've done?

    Upgrading to a new version of Zotero certainly doesn't require you to reimport your library.

    Unless you deleted your Zotero data directory, all files created on this computer will still exist. If you last used Zotero on another computer, see Files Not Syncing.

    In any case, you're still running a version of Zotero from 2019, and you should update to the current version.
