Unwanted DOI's

I have a large document and am using CMS Long Form for endnotes. I just added some new sources into my library, and for some reason it keeps adding the DOI's (when I don't need them). Zotero is only doing this for the new sources I have just added. Wondering if there is a quick fix? I will need the DOI's for the actual bibliography, so I am hesitant to just delete them.

You'd have to edit the style. The reasons DOIs are included in CMS notes is that CMS says to use DOIs in full notes. Not sure why that'd just be for recently added sources, though. Do the other ones have DOIs in the data?

I would recommend leaving the DOIs--they are really important for publishers to be able to accurately link your references to broader literature metadata. For items in your library that don't have DOIs, you can retrieve them using the DOI Manager plugin: https://github.com/bwiernik/zotero-shortdoi/releases/latest
