Journal of Neurosurgery Style
Dear friends,
I'm struggling with the JNS style downloaded from Zotero.
Current JNS guideline read:
Please follow the AMA Manual of Style, 11th
edition, for reference formatting (https://www.
amamanualofstyle.com).
• References should be cited in the text consecutively
with superscripted arabic numerals.
• References should be listed in the order in which they
appear in the text.
• For all reference types, list up to four authors. If there
are five or more authors, list three authors, then “et al”.
• Please use the NLM (PubMed) abbreviations for journal
titles (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nlmcatalog/
journals).
The current style (2016) does not apply the rules for author numbers and I'm struggling with the coding to make it work.
Many thanks.
