Zotero Libreoffice plugin crashed and won't reinstall (Report ID: 292238785)

I had installed the Zotero plugin previously, and it was working fine. However, I was working on something in Libreoffice, and it unexpectedly crashed (for reasons that I don't think had anything to do with Zotero). However, when I reopened Writer, the plugin was gone. So I closed Writer down and went back to Zotero for a reinstall. However, once I tried to reinstall I got an error message, and when I tried again it told me to install (as opposed to reinstall) the plugin. I tried the install several times and kept getting an error message, so I finally submitted a report and am following up with this forum post

That's just LO. You'd likely get the same thing trying to install the .oxt manually. Delete your LO profile folder — or at least the cache folder within it, but you may need to delete more — and it will probably work again.
