Edit/modify Item type?

I'm so happy to have found Zotero. My son, a PhD candidate, recommended it to me for catologing my personal library. Just one question, it there a way of either adding or modifying an Item Type? I sure would like to add "DVD" to the Item Type list. Is this possible?

    You should store a DVD as a Film item and enter DVD in the Format field.

    @bwiernik Thank you for that suggestion. I am a magician with a significant library of books, DVDs, and digital downloads. I wanted to specifically separate the DVDs from the digital downloads. I was classifying the DVDs as "Software" and the digital downloads as "Video Recordings". Being that we cannot add an "Item Type", your suggestion seems to be the most reasonable alternative. Thank you very much for the suggestion. I'll get to work reclassifying.
