What item type do I use?

I want the citation to basically appear like below; but "Canada, Find a Grave Index, 1600s-Current" should be in italics.

Ancestry.com. Canada, Find a Grave Index, 1600s-Current [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2012.

I've been messing around with the different item types to try to make it appear this way and always end up with the wrong thing Italicized or with quotations around "Ancestry.com".

Is there a way to make this work?
  • I am using Chicago style.
  • I would cite this as a dataset. Choose any item type and enter this in Extra:
    Type: dataset
  • What does it do when I enter that in Extra?
  • It tells Zotero to cite it as a ‘dataset’ item type when generating citations. If the CSL style you use is written to support dataset items (Chicago is), it will format correctly. When a future version of Zotero gets a proper Dataset type, this will migrate automatically.
  • So then which field(s) do I put the actual information in?
  • which actual information?
