Variables in "and"

Hello:
I am wondering if it is possible to vary the "and" between names in bibliography. In the style I have created y have set it to "text" in Spanish:

Therefore, it shows authors like this: "P. A. Hall y D. Soskice"

However, in Spanish grammar, there is a rule that changes the "y" into "e" whenever the following word starts with an "i" (because "y" and "i" have the same sound in Spanish). Therefore, we say "Carlos y José" or "francés y alemán", but we change "y" into "e" in cases such as "Carlos e Ignacio" or "francés e italiano".

So I was wondering if there's any way to make Zotero change the "y" into "e" when the following author's name (or last name) starts with "I". For instance:

Conde Guerri, M. E. y Iturrate Cárdenes, L. F. de (2002), «Reacciones emocionales en el cine: el caso de la muerte», Comunicar: Revista científica iberoamericana de comunicación y educación, 19, 147-151.

Thank you very much,
Ignacio
  • No, that's not currently possible, but at CSL we are aware of the issue and hope to address in a future version.
