I'd like to delete everything and start again (I think!) Yikes!

I have been using Zotero for about 3 years now. I have had a bit of a "love/hate" relationship with Zotero. I used it faithfully for quite some time, and then found it "glitchy". So, I reverted to manual citations. I am now about to start my dissertation, and I think I need to dive back into Zotero. I have countless documents in Zotero, as well as duplicates and triplicates. I am thinking that the best thing to do might be to delete everything that is there and start again with a fresh slate for my diss. I am open to thoughts and in particular, I would like advice on "how" to delete everything that is currently there.

Not really sure what sort of answer you're looking for. You can just select all items and delete them, and then empty the trash. But there's no need to do that unless you actually don't want the items. If you have duplicates, you can use the Duplicate Items view to merge them.

Thanks for responding. To be a bit more clear . . .
1. Are there any pros to deleting what is there and starting "fresh"?
2. If I choose to delete what is there, is there a "fast" way to do it?

The pro to deleting what's there would be that you don't want what's there.

The fast way to delete everything would be to do a Select All and then press delete.
