Multiple Zotero versions with a shared library?
We are starting to add users to a shared a library, but the managed company computers will not allow Zotero to auto-update. This makes it very likely that we will soon have users with different versions of Zotero, depending upon how diligent they are about contacting IT to manually update.
Will users with different versions of Zotero in a shared library be a problem? Are there thresholds (like going from ver 5 to 6 vs 5.1 to 5.2) we should keep track of so we enforce updating at those points?
Any suggestions for how to handle this situation simply?
