Changing from text citation to numbered citation with square bracket

I'd like to change from the current citation:

The global prevalence of overweight and obesity among children and adolescents more than quadrupled between 1975 and 2016, rising from just 4% to over 18% (World Health Organisation, 2020).

to:

... over 18% [1].

I have looked at other discussions but could not find a solution yet as most of them asked for superscript problem. I am a newbie to Zotero.

Thank you so so much!
Vince.

    Hi,

Under "Document Preferences" you would just go and change to a numeric style.

Here's all the numeric styles we have on the repository:
    https://www.zotero.org/styles?format=numeric&dependent=0

That is assuming of course that you had inserted the citations into your document using Zotero.
  • Thanks. I've got American Psychological Association 7th edition (numeric, brackets). However when I run on my manuscript, it shows superscript even though I didnt choose superscript (which is the next option after numeric, brackets...

May I ask how to dis-superscript it, like lower it down on the same line with other words?

    Bunch of thanks again!
  • American Psychological Association 7th edition (numeric, brackets)
    is coded to superscript.
Do you need APA? Otherwise, pick a different style from the list -- check the preview to see how the citation will look.
  • Thanks. I have used Springer basic bracket to decode the superscript.
