Wow! These are amazing additions to Zotero that I think a lot of people are going to appreciate! I know I am super excited

Here are my suggestions:

-I’ll add support for a different cursor icon for highlighting text and an OCR option (if possible, I know it's a big ask!)

-A spell check dictionary in notes, so it actually corrects misspellings

-“Rename PDF from Parent Metadata”—it would be awesome to have a button to click that does this when you're editing the Parent Item Metadata/viewing the PDF itself. It would save a couple of clicks

-“Rename PDF from Parent Metadata”-Pt2: In "attachmentRenameFormatString" hidden preference, is it possible to add additional wildcards similar to Zotfile to customize file renaming?

Again--and I cannot say this enough--what you all have done is amazing! Even if you were to stop here, this is a major development!

    And OCR already exists as an add-on (given that it's fairly substantial code for a subset of users, that's probably the right approach). See

    The plan is to just have an option to automatically keep stored files renamed as you update parent metadata.

    That's unrelated to the new features, but additional customizability there in the vein of ZotFile is planned (and we'd be happy to take patches for that).
