can't download PDF to Zetoro

Hello !
I'm new to Zotero. I try to download Pdf articles from EBSCOhost with the Zotero connector in google chrome (connected with my university proxy), but it does not work.
  • You'd have to say more about what exactly is happening, along with an example URL. (You can x out your university name if you want.)
  • I have find an article for example "Forgiveness revisited: God's and our" with full pdf files but when I add this article in Zotero, the pdf file couldn't be caught in Zotero .
  • You're still not explaining exactly what's happening. Are you saying that the PDF doesn't appear in the save popup, or it does but there's a red X next to it?

If the latter, can you provide a Debug ID from Zotero for a save attempt where the PDF fails to download?
  • PDF doesn't appear in the save popup
  • The Debug ID is D619499644

OK, so Zotero's EBSCOhost translator isn't even detecting that page — you can see that you're getting a webpage icon rather than, say, a journal article icon, and you'll see "Save to Zotero (Web Page)" instead of "Save to Zotero (EBSCOhost)" when you hover over the save button. That's the thing to report here. If you just have a webpage icon, you'll never get a PDF when you try to save, and will just get very basic item details rather than full metadata.

What database are you using in EBSCO? I can't test that at the moment, but there may be some problems there currently.
  • thank you for your effort. I tried again to open the article to save to Zotero. I let my friend try the same article , she can save to the Zotero, but PDF doesn't appear in the save popup in my computer
