Cannot Add Citation or Edit Bibliography in Google Docs

I am having issues adding citations and editing my bibliography in google docs using firefox and OSx 10.14.6. I also have Zotero Connector 5.0.81 installed.

Instead of getting a Zotero dialogue box when I try to "add/edit citation" or "refresh", all I get is "add a link" behavior from Google Docs.

This is a working manuscript that only I have added citations to and have added over 50 citations to this point with no problem.
