Upgrade StorageOverwrite existing item from clipboard
Hi,
is there a way to overwrite an existing item from clipboard, while keeping the attached files and notes?
UseCase:
I often import papers from arXiv via the browser plugin. But often the included meta data is wrong. So I search for the bibtex entry in research databases. E.g. dblp.org. Now I just want to copy this entry over the item in zotero.
My current workaround:
I copy the bibtex entry and do "import from clipboard" and afterwards I move the attached files and notes to the new item and remove the old ones.
This workaround also removes the old item from all my collections.

dstillman Zotero TeamJust select both items, right-click, Merge Items, and choose the newer one.
