Error in exporting Zotero library
I am trying to export my Zotero library so that I can then import it into my NVivo library
The settings on my export are
Format: RIS
Export Notes: TRUE
Export Files: TRUE
Character Encoding: Unicode (UTF-8)
it will start exporting the library but before finishing a provides the error "An error occurred while trying to export the selected file."
and when I check the folder there will be the RIS file and the folder with the individual files from my library but the number starts at 29 and goes to 55.
after much grief, I found that it was a Thesis (my personal undergrad one) that was the file causing problems. and once removed no error was given and the folder with the individual files from my library but the number starts at 29 and goes to 131. and I sucsesfuly imported it in to Nvivo.
I'm still unsure why my file numbers don't start at 1 and if this is going to be a problem later.
also could you add a feature that lets you know what file is causing the error so its quicker to solve in the future?

Can you provide a Debug ID for an export attempt of this item that fails? Not easily. Exports aren't supposed to fail, so it's by definition an unexpected condition and not necessarily something we can provide better feedback for.
But for anything like this, you can identify the problem in a few minutes just by dividing in halves. If one half fails, try half of that, or else try the other half. Even with thousands of items it wouldn't take more than about 10 steps to find the item that's failing.
The numbers are normal. They're internal ids and not meant to start from 1.
