How to modify and update the existing "ACS Nano" citation style
Hi there,
I am using the existing "ACS Nano" citation style for my manuscript. However, this style is not up to date. According to "ACS Nano" requirement, the citation style should be as follow:
1. Individually numbered with only one citation per reference.
2. References must adhere to correct journal style: include article titles in title case, journal abbreviations according to CASSI, proper punctuation and arrangement, and use full page ranges. References with more than 10 authors must list the first 10 authors, followed by “et al.”
3. Title case (for citation titles): Capitalize all words, including subordinate conjunctions (as, because, although). Put prepositions such as “for”, “or”, “and”, as well as all articles in lower case. For hyphenated phrases, capitalize both words unless the second word is a verb.
4. Do not include any issue numbers in references.
Journal article example: 1. Besteman, K.; Lee, J.-O.; Wiertz, F. G. M.; Heering, H. A.; Dekker, C. Enzyme-Coated Carbon Nanotubes as Single-Molecule Biosensors. Nano Lett. 2003, 3, 727—730.
Book example:2. Craighead, H. G. Nanostructures in Electronics. In Nanomaterials: Synthesis, Properties and Applications; Edelstein, A., Cammatata, R., Eds.; Taylor and Francis: New York, 1998; pp 565—566.
The existing style however includes both the issue number and the HTTP link, can somebody help me to modify this or update the existing ACS Nano citation style? Thanks a lot!
