American Physiological Society and Journal of Physiology styles
Hi guys,
I'm a new user of Zotero and the only thing I can say is that I love it.
I'm writing now 2 manuscripts that I want to submit pretty soon.
My main issue is that the Citation style of the 2 journals I want to submit to (namely Journal of Applied Physiology and Journal of Physiology) is not available.
The American Physiological Society (publisher of the Journal of Applied Physiology) and The Physiological Society (publisher of the Journal of Physiology) provide a selection of output styles available for a variety of citation management software which can be downloaded on their website but Zotero is not included (cf. http://www.the-aps.org/publications/journals/styles.htm and http://jp.physoc.org/cgi/citmgr?gca=jphysiol;579/2/289&ck=nck respectively).
Then, based on the information the publishers offer on their websites about reference styles (http://www.the-aps.org/publications/i4a/prep_manuscript.htm#manuscript_sections and http://jp.physoc.org/site/misc/author.xhtml#refs respectively - scroll down to References) I naively thought that I could create myself a new citation style. I found out pretty quickly that it was far out from my capabilities, considering that I have NO experience in code editing.
I was wondering if somebody more familiar with CLS could help me to work this out.
Thanks for your help.

You can import endnote styles using the styles tab in the preferences (if you're using Zotero 2.0b), though you'll be better of if you work with us to create a proper csl.
You're super fast.
Thanks for your input.
I'll follow the link you sent to me.
I'm ready to help to create the proper csl.
I followed your instructions and created a specific post named: Style request: [Journal of applied physiology].
Please let me know if you need more informations.
Thnaks,
Greg
