If I uninstall Zotero to upgrade the version do I loose my library?

Do I loose my library if I uninstall Zotero in order to upgrade the version?

I believe you can select to remove local data on uninstall; unless you do that, it won't be deleted and Zotero will recognize it on re-install.

(You should still, as a matter of general practice, always have a back-up of your data directory, as you would for all important data: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#backing_up_your_zotero_data)

I believe you can select to remove local data on uninstall

(Even if you select that, it only removes the profile folder with some settings, not the data directory.)
