v5.0.93 fails to properly upgrade on macOS 11.1 under non-admin user
I've been running Zotero v5.0.93 and was prompted to upgrade. However, upgrading appeared to have failed under my account, which doesn’t have administration privileges.
That is to say, I was prompted to restart Zotero and when I did, I was prompted to enter credentials of an administration account. However, before I could do so, Zotero reported that the "Software Update Failed" (though the password dialogue remained open).
The update appeared to work fine when I ran Zotero from an administration account. And Zotero does now report its version as 5.0.94.
However, it still prompts me for administration credentials and reports a failure to upgrade every time it starts.

Upgrade Storage
We haven't done any testing of non-admin accounts on macOS — I think there've been a few reports of this, but it's not a particularly common configuration. We probably can't fix this very easily in the current version, but we'll look into it for a future version. In the meantime, one workaround would be installing Zotero.app in ~/Applications instead of /Applications. It's also possible to disable automatic app updates, but I wouldn't recommend that.
